What You Can Do In Advance…
Before your senior year, there are a few things you can do to begin preparing for your post-secondary education. Once you’re a senior, don’t forget to visit our website regularly for scholarships you may be eligible to apply for and workshops you should put on your calendar.
If you’re in high school at Hayfield, Mount Vernon, Robinson or West Potomac, you might be interested in Project Discovery, a program designed to help students stay in and graduate from high school and make a smooth transition to post-secondary school. Click here to learn more about Project Discovery Fairfax.
In addition, all Fairfax County Public School students are encouraged to learn more about financial planning for college through their school’s Financial Aid evening programs. Any student or parent may attend the program at any school. Consult your school’s calendar or click here to visit FCPS’s Financial Aid website.
