Thank you for donating!

A child in a family making more than $90,000 a year has a one in two chance of earning a bachelor’s degree. For a child in a family earning less than $35,000 a year, those odds drop to one in 17.

There are more than 30,000 children in Fairfax County in families earning less than $35,000 a year. Which is why your financial support for College Access Fairfax is vital.

Last year, College Access Fairfax served more than 1,500 low income students at risk of not attending college for financial reasons, helping nearly 900 complete federal financial aid forms necessary for financial aid of any kind. More than 1,100 parents and students attended our “Paying for College” Workshops, and nearly 500 attended our workshops offering immediate online filing of financial aid forms.

And nearly two dozen students received scholarships ranging from $100 book scholarships to $5,000 to help with tuition.

So, thank you in advance for your generous donation…You will be making a difference in the lives of young people.
